INTRODUCING KAKIC UNIVERSE AT THE 29TH DAY OF THE ONE - HUNDRED DAYS OF LEARNING (O.D.O.L) HOSTED BY AGE OF WONDERLAND

On The 7th of July 2017, Mr Archibald Marwizi facilitated the 29th day of the 100 Days of Learning sponsored by Hivos, Baltan Laboratories and the Dutch Design Foundation.

 

The One hundred Days Of Learning (ODOL) Is an initiative by Age Of Wonderland

100 Days of Learning is the 2017 program of knowledge-platform Age of Wonderland, a global learning event to exchange valuable life experiences with peers.

Age of Wonderland invited innovators, scientists, engineers, artists, designers, social entrepreneurs and thinkers from around the world to share their stories and ideas from their own personal experience and practice. In order to rediscover knowledge, challenge beliefs, and exchange life experiences with others. To make the world a better place, we need to embrace change on an individual level, and to inspire others to do the same.

The Age of Wonderland team has selected the proposals for the 100 Days of Learning. Participants become part of the global Age of Wonderland network and will receive a small stipend to carry out their Day of Learning. The so called teachers will be given feedback relating to content, communication and production of their Day of Learning.

Mr Marwizi Facilitated the 29th Day of learning at the Gweru Memorial Library, in Gweru, Zimbabwe with the theme, Turning the Negative into fuel for Success.

It was a very informative and educative program, were Mr Marwizi shared on how the most despicable acts in Human history are slavery and colonialism and how we must turn the painful and emotional lessons into fuel for success.

Kudakwashe Maxwell was then called up to present the vision and idea of KAKIC UNIVERSE, to the people present at the function.

It was a lively and entertaining presentation, sparking the interests of all participants of the program.

This was the first ever public presentation by Kudakwashe, on anything related to Kakic Universe, and its vision. As a young boy coming straight out of high school, the level of ambition and hope he exhibited was remarkable. The audience was amazed and inspired by the young man’s vision and confidence and encouraged him to keep moving forward. Some members even went as far as make some donations to Kuda’s School Fees! As for Kudakwashe, he got a confidence boost as he was heading in a career path which is not regarded as ordinary or familiar territory in the eyes of Zimbabwe, the successful presentation and amazing feedback encouraged Kudakwashe, to keep pursuing the vision that is KAKIC UNIVERSE.
